Visit Milwaukee is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee in the ASQ Center. Having access to both tourists and native Milwaukeeans was important to Visit Milwaukee, which is why they chose their location along the skywalk system of downtown. Guests are always welcome (and encouraged) to come in for a chat, learn about the latest restaurant openings, or grab a brochure from the hundreds they have on display. With the desire to make their existing space more hospitable, they reached out to Korb to help design their workspace to represent the fun culture of the company and the vibrant city of Milwaukee.
By reducing the number of private offices and increasing the number of workstations, Visit Milwaukee was able to increase productivity among the staff. Walls were taken down and collaboration areas were sprinkled into the workstations to allow for quick meetings or dedicated project pods. Larger collaboration zones were created so employees could congregate and discuss new projects. The open concept break room is centrally located, giving employees and guests another place to meet and mingle.
All rooms received a fresh coat of paint and new flooring, and the two main conference rooms were upgraded to include new lighting and technology. The Visit Milwaukee brand can be seen from almost every angle in the space, featuring bright pops of color, decorative wall graphics, and quirky sayings thoughtfully displayed throughout.
