Ni Burmese

Ni Burmese is a family-owned restaurant located on the first floor of Kinetik Apartments, a mixed-use development in Bay View. The project introduces the flavors and visual identity of Myanmar through a clean, contemporary interior. The design balances simple finishes with focused moments of detail to support the restaurant’s identity. Custom photographic murals from Myanmar are integrated into arched wall niches along the dining room and in the restrooms, creating a consistent visual element throughout the space. A neutral material palette is paired with teal booths and feature tile at the bar to add color and contrast. Clusters of organic-shaped pendant lights provide soft, dim lighting, supporting a comfortable and intimate dining atmosphere.
