An icon for Marquette University’s Historic District for over a century, Johnston Hall is currently home of the Diederich College of Communication. The Korb team was asked to convert existing spaces into sound-isolated studios, allowing students a facility to replicate their post-graduation experience in the news media industry. This project included a newsroom, production stage, insert stage with green screen, production control room, audio booth, on-air radio studio, and broadcast data room—providing students with hands-on learning opportunities to prepare for their future careers.
