The Amp Haus pavilion serves as a support to the City of Greenfield’s Konkel Park amphitheater. This dynamic little building provides public restrooms, a serving kitchen, a staff office, and storage for residents enjoying open-air concerts and dining al-fresco in the heart of their town.
Konkel Park Amphitheater’s curved form is reflected back in the pavilion’s curved roof. The Amp Haus Pavilion acts as a bookend, supporting existing programs and spatially defining a previously open-ended space.
Initially planned to be a standard-issue park pavilion, our design encouraged a broader vision of what the space could be.
